To Tell You These Feelings

"Hey Crystal, can you record the movement of that Daikenki?" A scientist asked the pigtailed. She nodded, "of course, professor." And smiled although it came up faker than she had wanted it to be.

"You're doing well Crystal, for only coming here in such a short time," The professor praised, Crystal flushed slightly. I wonder what Gold would say, she thought to herself absentmindedly but shook her head wildly, her navy blue pigtails slapping her cheeks. Why am I even thinking about that jerk?! She thought to herself, her face flushing angrily.

He's been nothing more than a jerk, she thought to herself as she looked through the glass seeing the way a Dalkenki was swimming, she noted that it arched it's bodies when swimming in loops. The way it's tail flicks up..

It remembers me of Gold's Ambipom, she thought to herself smiling, remembering the mischievous Pokemon. Ack! Stop it Crystal! She mentally scolded herself as she jotted down some notes. You cannot think of anything relating to Gold! She told herself sternly as she continued to observe the Dalkenki.

Although the research centre was amazing and being surrounded by people who were just as curious as she was about Pokemon and wanting to learn the scientifically facts about the, she can't help but think of the golden eyed boy ever since she came here.

"Hey anyone want some rice crackers?!" One of her fellow scientists, Josh asked as he brought out a basket of rice crackers. Some scientists went to take the crunchy snack including Crystal who's stomach grumbled at that very moment.

"Chris! How's the observation going?" Josh greeted when the scientists parted munching on the delicious snack. She smiled at Josh. He was nice to everyone and polite too but a little stubborn.

Kinda like Gold..

Argh! Stop it! She screamed at herself as she took the snack, "it's going well, sofar I've recorded 20 water type Pokemon movements when swimming." Josh let out a low whistle.

"Woah, and you've only been here for such a short time! Great work Crys!" He said to her giving her a grin, "oh yeah and two people,I think theyit names are Black and White..will be coming here to interview the chief so make sure to welcome them when they pass here ok?"

Crystal nodded as she unwrapped the plastic of the rice cracker and chomped on it. Her Crystal eyes widened as a familiar taste flooded into her mouth. She has tasted this rice cracker several times with a familiar person.

Hey Josh where did you get these rice crackers?" Crystal asked the curly haired teen. She just had to make sure it would confirm her suspicions.H

Josh puffed his chest out proudly and a grin flitted on his face, "these came all the way from Violet City!" 

Crystal stared at the half eaten rice cracker. Gold would always drag her there, at least once a month claiming she needed a break and ends up saying he's always broke so in the end he just buys them rice crackers. She would get mad and call him cheap and a idiot but it was special. 

Right now as she munched away on her rice cracker walking back to her spot she could almost feel Gold next to her, eating on his own rice cracker, chattering about how his day was. A small smile came across the Crystal eyed girl's face. Yes, she could see him now, on the janitor's trolley that was headed towards her. 

Wait what?

The boy was finding beneath the white cloth of the trolley while the elderly man pushed it not realising that the said boy was in the trolley. 

"This seems to be heavier than usual, " the man grunted as he heaved the trolley pushing it hard. Gold steps out when the elderly man is looking at the basket of rice crackers Josh has on the other side of the room, rubbing his stomach as Gold starts to walk towards Crystal. 

"G-gold!" Crystal said stunned, shocked, "how did you get here?" Gold grinned at her. Oh how she missed that grin of his. 

"The juniors helped," he said jerking his thumb to Black and White who were coming in. They both waved and smiled at Crystal who waved back. 

"Listen Crystal," Gold said, nervously rubbing the back of his neck, "I'm sorry for that day I treated you like crap. The reason why was because I didn't want you to hesitate in making your decision to be here. I mean look at it." He waved his hand at the area, "this place is meant for you, I couldn't I mean." 

He he stopped when he saw Crystal crying. 

Crying. 

He bit his lip nervously, inside he was a torrent panicking and worried. He should've known this would happen, ugh what was wrong with him?! 

Tears escaped her eyes as she flung her arms around him, sobbing now. 

"Gold you idiot! That was the nicest thing you've done to me, anyone's done to me!" She said between sobs hugging him tightly not wanting to let go. 

"I'm sorry Crystal," Gold whispered as he hugged her back receiving aws from the crowd forming around them except for the janitor who was chomping on those rice crackers. 

Gold gulped knowing that this was moment. Better now than later. 

"I love you," he said, caressing her hair. Crystal looked up, eyes still teary, a smile on her face as she cried once more, this time with tears of joy. 

"I love you too you idiot!" 

Black stared at White as the couple embraced themselves. She stood there tall and proud smiling at her seniors proclaiming their love for another. 

"Hey Prez?" He asked leaning in slightly. She turned to the boy, her blue eyes shining. 

"Yeah?" 

"You think we could be like Senior Gold and Senior Crystal?" Black asked her giving her nervous smile which she found cute. 

She laughed and slowly intertwined her fingers with his. 

She looked back at the happy couple and at the boy she had loved for a long time. 

"I don't see why not."
