Nicknames

Ever since Red and I have been dating, he had never given me a nickname. Unlike Green who calls Blue, 'pesky girl', and 'obnoxious woman'. As for Gold would call Crystal, "Super Serious Gal" which Gold would find funny when Crystal becomes annoyed. It always ends with a whack on the head. Ruby would call Sapphire a lot of nicknames such as, "Barbarian","Wild Girl" but I know Sapphire doesn't takes those nicknames to heart.

So why am I the only of the couples which doesn't have a nickname?

I sighed as I gazed into the picture of Red and I on our first date, "RING!!!!!" "Pi! Pika! Pi!" ChuChu cried out happily. I smiled at her as I went to get the door. Red and I were planning to go to Virdian Forest. "Hiya Yellow!" Red smiled at me as he carried a picnic basket. I smiled back shyly. No matter how long  we had been dating I still can't get used to that fact.

"PI! pika' Chu!" Pika, Red's Pikachu cried out as soon as he saw ChuChu. "You guys take care of the house, now." Red told them. Pika and ChuChu nodded and then Red closed the door. As he did so we could hear crying out to each other happily. I couldn't help but smile at that.

"Are you sure they'll be alright?" I asked Red worriedly as we walked to Virdian Forest. "Of course!" He replied confidently. "Pika is the best Pikachu around!" He said with his nose held high. I punched his arm playfully and Red pretended to look hurt from the impact.

"Ouch! That hurt!" He said as he "rubbed" the "sore" spot. Both of us laughed at that.

When we reached Virdian Forest, we laid down a mat and began to take out the food that Red had prepared. Red wasn't very good cook. But in his defense he tried very hard to improve. Red had made pasta and sandwiches and had brought two bottles of apple juice.

As I took a bite of the pasta, Red asked me, "Is it alright?" I chewed and he waited. "It's good." I said to him grinning. He smiled back and tucked in as well. We soon began to talk about our Pokemon and cracked up a few jokes. I smiled and was grateful that I was Red's girlfriend.

Once we had finished eating, we were lying down on the grass and watched the clouds. "Hey Red," I said to him, hearing my own voice quivering a bit. "Yeah?" He asked. I coud hear worry in his voice. "Why don't you give me a nickname like the rest?" Red immediately let put a sigh of relief. "Phew! I thought you were going to break up with me!" I was shocked. "I would never do that!"

"But to answer your question," Said Red, "You don't need a nickname Yellow."  His red eyes staring into mine. "Yellow reminds me about happiness, peace and hope." I blushed at that. "You don't need a nickname, Yellow." He said to me. Then he leaned in and softly pressed his lips against mine. I returned it.

Not having a nickname isn't so bad after all, I thought to myself
