It's All My Fault

"Sapphire!!" A boy with ruby red eyes who lied on the blood stained floor reached out his hand trying to bring her back. The brunette turned around and gave him a weak smile as two strong men in Team Rocket uniform handcuffed her, "Everything is gonna be fine, Prissy boy.." "Please just take me instead!" Ruby yelled at them.

The two rockets didn't acknowledge his cries. The two men led Sapphire out. As Sapphire reached the doorway just a metre away from Ruby she turned and gave him a strained smile, "Gonna miss ya, Prissy boy." And then she was gone when one of the rockets used Teleport through his Alakazam.

Ruby was on the ground. A slash pierced through his clothes, blood started to seep out of his stomach and chest. His arms had cuts and bruises everywhere. This is all my fault! Ruby thought, I should have never believed the letter sent to me. It had said it was the biggest contest of the year and he was invited and was allowed to bring a friend. He chose Sapphire who reluctantly agreed.

It was a trap. They wanted him..but Sapphire volunteered herself and told them to choose her. His grip on the letter tighten.

"Don't take him! Take me instead!"

He closed his eyelids with a lot of force preventing himself to cry. A tear escaped from his eyelids and that sent him bawling. He tried getting up but he was in no condition to do even such that simple task. He looked around the auditorium. Curtains slashed ripped to shreds. The centre of the stage had been scarred with a big hole.

Holes on the walls and slashes. Chairs were pulled out and scattered everywhere. Some blood stained the floor. He heard the siren of the police and ambulance and all of his thoughts were focused on Sapphire. He was never ever going to see her again.

He slunked down to the floor and placed his head on his arms as they crossed over his knees.

"Gonna miss ya, Prissy Boy.."

His sobs filled the silence and dread atmosphere.

"IT'S ALL MY FAULT!" His shouts filled the auditorium as tears rolled down his face.
